Holiday Road is unlike many other charity based displays. 100% of your donation money goes to the charities. We do not hold back anything for production costs. The typical charity event will take up to 40% to cover production costs out the donation money first. There is no personal gain by any neighbor.

All of the lights are paid for and supplied by the creator of the display out of his own personal funds. Each neighbor supplies their own electric. Most neighbors experience less than a $10 increase in their electric bill for the entire month.

Although the charities receive 100% of the money they do pay for the Sheriffs. Last year the total cost for Sheriffs accounted for only 6.2% of the donation money.
